A drive-by on I-68 in Western Maryland for the
Shooting Through Sunglasses group. This is specifically in Frostburg where someone's been attempting to build their version of Noah's Ark for years! 8^)

I love how this image is divided by light and dark... and the church sign ties it all up. - you got the right "view" on this one!

Oh now THIS is a cool shot. Love how the sunglasses funnel the subjects from 'atmosphere' to 'scenery' -- quite fetching!

Rhi has brought up a good point, BTW: kids don't try this... Seriously . You really need to be very careful grabbing shots in this way!
With this particular photo, I was holding the camera in my hands (w/ the shades of course in front) which firmly gripped the steering wheel (I have big hands =) -- shooting through the windshield.
For drive-by shots, when I've done something stupid or even remotely reckless, I call myself a MORON and turn the camera off, quickly putting it away. I really do this. I've also practiced the different ways that I hold the camera (@ slow speeds on empty streets). Might sound lame, but it would be really easy to get into an accident doing this.
SO, kids..... 8^)
