Hmm.. isn't the super macro mode for very
short distances (few centimeters only)? I
would have thought that you'd need to be at a
significant distance from that frog or it
would jump away.

Yes, the super macro mode from the Minolta Z3
captures objects as close as 1cm away from
the camera. This shot was taken in a zoo, the
frog sits behind a glass and was about
10-15cm away.

BTW this is probably the scariest thing I've
ever seen. I've never seen an amphibian that
looked so ... sentient ... before. It looks
like it's going to slowly turn it's eyes
towards me and say, "Hellllooow SSccott,
I've beeeen wwwaaiitting for yoooouuu."
