"icing sugar" obviously is simply powdered sugar. And there I was and never knew what was meant by "icing" sugar. And please don't call it pancakes ... pancakes are just a wee bit thicker than Crepes. But Kaiserschmarrn is lots thicker and it the pieces are torn. never cut, always torn.
