Culture shock: I came across these by accident in NYC, not sure if they're "authentic" Norwegian artifacts or reproductions Made in the USA. I know that the rosemaling decorative technique is popular among American Norwegians, so I'm tempted to think they might be remakes.

The dragon cup looks a bit strange, but the rose painted bowl looks like the real deal. In any case it's strange to see objects with such traditional implications in a context you wouldn't expect to find them, i.e. in Williamsburg, New York...
