The centerpiece of my dot-com collection, I salvaged this Crash Site poster from the wreckage of Gettingit.com. Crash Site was an innovative e-zine that pushed the edges of web design in the mid-1990s. (And it was Cool Site of the Day for April 19, 1995!)

Oh, and the poster is huge.

	iancr says: Wow. I don't even have one of those. Crash Site was a family. We're all mostly still out here. Jim (artist) is Division 13, Mark Driver (writer) works at MSFT but is going to back to college (Carnegie Mellon in the fall) to be a professor (don't front on his novel), Greg Shewchuck (stunt man) is alive and well and Sakebombing the Glendale Skate Park on the regular and running a rad not for profit, and I (programmer, EYEHATEGOD interviewer) am at Yahoo. Heath, who did a lot of the visual design, I haven't kept in touch with, but I think Mark has. Shout outs to Gibran, Mike Bloom, Vince Koser, Kirk, Pat D, and Jake Harvey, too! 	pugsrule1 says: Jake Harvey in the house. Ahh the memories...hmmm...I think I have a huge stack of those posters somewhere. There were so many of them at the big gun office we used them for doormats. I think Mark Driver used them for toilet paper a couple times when he was too drunk to climb down the ladder from his office on top of the bathroom at the Broadway office. If we only would have known at the time that the REAL way to make money on the internet would be selling those posters online, that company would still be in business. Good times. It taught me how to make mead and how to spin fucking sweet 360's in a front wheel drive car by putting stolen lunch trays from mcdonalds under the back tires and locking the e-brake. I learned how to run over an oncoming car from the Crash Site. I was fucking bummed when it went down.
