There's still many space left, wonder what I should do, maybe a USB hub? Put in a 16GB USB pendrive for other stuff.

Got my hand on an used iBook recently. After rebuilding it (since some cables, keyboard, airport and other stuff are not in), I decide to try something else with it. Right, putting 2 CF card in it and strip-RAID them as main HDD (that's SSD!!!). It's a simple mod, all you need is dual CF to mini ITX adapter. 2 CF card and you're done.

iBook G4 800Mhz

Installed with 10.4.6, then updated to 10.4.10

After loaded with some apps + updates, approx 4GB left.

I'm not sure as there's no packaging, warped with clear plastic when I got it. As long as it is CF to mini ITX (laptop IDE) it should work.

Any special tricks to get this to work?
No. Just makesure you get 2 identical CF card to RAID. And it should be CF type I, type II is too fat to fit in.
