the boys, in a sit/stay. oslo automatically lies down. i guess he figures from past experience that he's going to be there for a while.

all the tourists around us were watching in amazement as the dogs obeyed all our commands. you'd think some of them had never seen a dog sit on command before. who knows. maybe they hadn't....

That is so neat to see them on the Capitol steps! We did D.C. over the 4th a couple of years ago -- great to be able to say we did it, but too crowded to do very often!! We did not have the Weims with us, but really wish we did! It's a great city to take a dog!

thanks! actually, it's not as dog-friendly as seattle. you can't take the dogs on the buses here, which totally sucks.
