This is from the Chinese Garden at the Montreal Botanical Gardens. I thought this bonsai display looked like some water color paintings I've seen of the mountains of China. I think this shot would be better if it was taken about 45 minutes earlier, before all the shadows were there.

	plantsareneat says: I took this exact photo when Hubby and I were honeymooning in Montreal a few years ago. Shadows included. Some of those trees just radiate compressed time, given that they are no more than 3 feet tall and some of them are 350 years old. They have presence. Posted 11 months ago. ( permalink )
