The 35W bridge over the river in Minneapolis collapsed this evening during rush hour. Kevin and I jumped on the motorcycle to try to get to the scene. Looks like hundereds of other people had the same thought. We got as close as Main St. SE. on the north side of the river (right in front of the Stone Arch Apartments). We got back on the bike shortly to see if we could get across the river (where we'd have better access to the scene) but traffic was insane and we went home.
