Excellent shot! I was out at the bunkers on
Sunday taking pictures with the kids and it
was so hazy that a shot like this was not
possible. Looks like Saturday was the day!

Saturday was indeed the day. It was amazingly
clear day all day long out in the headlands.
It was the kind of day that would be perfect
to make a movie.

I'd love to see this in real life. Should
definitely come to SF sometime in the future.
Love the way you've framed it - the hill is
visible, the full bridge, the sky, the
cityscape.
That's a nice type you're using for your
name; might I ask what it is?

If you're ever in SF, head over to the Marin
Headlands. This view is from the old battery
emplacements up there.
The typeface is Myriad Pro. Semibold
Condensed I think.

Thanks for the tip. Hope to be there someday.
Oh? Didn't recognize Myriad Pro. Looks very
clean.

Yah. It's one of my favorite typefaces,
especially in it's condensed widths.

Yep, discovered it only recently. I love what
Apple did with Lucida Grande ubiquity -
clean, simple, legible. And distinct.
Once I was over the
Lucida-Grande-everything phase (lol), Myriad
Pro's flexibility for having those very
qualities and variations inspired me to use it in a
project. Worked well, so it should feature in
my next website (which is taking ages
already) as well.
