You should get a photo of the cylindrical "over easy" egg that McDonald's uses for the Egg McMuffin.

What about boston brown bread from the can. My mom used to have that and it was like bread pudding in a can. Really really good!

Beaut photos! I have an approach-avoidance fascination with the cranberry jelly myself. Oh, and Boston Brown Bread; do they sell that anymore?

Wow - you are so right! We should make less efficient packaging that is *more* wasteful and holds less food. Don't mind the fact that feeding the world efficiently is ALREADY a problem right now!

My intent with this series of photos wasn't to criticize efficient packaging. I love efficient packaging; anything that reduces waste is fine by me. My aim was to point out the unnatural forms that our food takes these days. I tried to be unbiased because I'm really okay with you eating frozen broccoli blocks. I just wanted to ask what happened to our food?
