Malek, an Alexandrian blogger and Wasat Party activist who has campaigned for the release of Egyptians detained for their online activities, was among the youths arrested for participating in a sit-in protest in support of judges who have spoken out against electoral abuses and executive control of the judiciary.

The only thing is that Malek hated this photo of him. When he's released he'll be mortified that was the image of him that spread across the Web. ;)
