Dear all,
I am an enthusiastic selfist, as well as an enthusiastic researcher of the selfie phenomenon.
I am currently writing an article on the politics of desinvisibilisation allowed by the taking selfies.
you know, if society and the media does not represent people like you, selfies allow you to take matters into your own hands and represent yourself on your own terms.
I am looking for an example of intersectionality: someone who could potentially suffer from 2 or more kinds of discrimination (black and gay, physically and mentally ill, poor and disabled...) and shoots selfies
Do you have somebody in mind?
Thanks for you help!
Juliette
