Group Rules
Welcome aboard! While we are a very friendly group, a few basic rules of conduct must be clear for smooth and enjoyable operation. Post only photos of or taken by the Nikon D300 in the pool (limit 3 per day). Please keep in mind that the group is open to all ages and has members from many countries and cultural backgrounds while selecting appropriate photos to post to the pool. (i.e be tasteful. Bathing suit yes, nudity no.) If you shots aren't appropriate for all ages, children included, they don't belong in our public pool. Offensive language, or disparaging comments will not be tolerated. While this has been extremely rare in our fast growing and otherwise friendly group, it is bound to happen on occasion. If any member is offended by comments or photos posted by other members, please Flickr mail a mod or admin to let us address the issue. If this reaches a point where it is diminishing other's enjoyment of the group, such disruptive members may have their offensive posts/photos deleted or be banned from the group. While this pertains to a very few occurrences so far, it bares watching. To the 99.9% of members who are making positive contributions, our thanks to you for your great work. It has been a real joy to see what the new camera can do so far.
As covered by Flickr rules, commercial activity (buying/selling, promoting auctions, etc.) in group forums is not permitted. This is not a group for members to promote their businesses. Linking to an outside gallery of your work for discussion purposes is fine. Adding a "signature" link to your outside business in your group posts to attract customers is not. User profiles are better suited to such purposes, rather than Nikon D300 User discussions.
Regards, Shadow Hunter. :)
