How do I know an image has been entered for the competition when an entry form has been completed and emailed?

Hi Paul,

You can check which images you have entered by logging in to the entry form via our website. Your entries will appear as selected at the top of the page.

Hi There,
So can you just confirm that if the images say "selected" that they are entered. I ask this as I cannot find my entries by searching in the Insight Pool.
Thanks Tom.

Hey ROG team - could you please confirm AstroTom's (and my) question - there is no submit button? We just simply login to your website and see our five entries outlined in black at the top of our Flickr feed?

Thanks.

Dear Grant and Tom,

Thank you for your enquiries. The 'Submit' button actually appears in the pop-up box for each image entry. When you first go in to submit your images, you would click this once you have completed all the details in there. Now you have submitted the images, this should appear as an 'Update' button.

The Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year photo pool is now only used a public forum to share images and ideas. It is no longer necessary for entrants to submit images to the group in order to enter them in to the competition. This would explain why you can't see your images in the pool.

Kind regards,

Thank you kindly for explaining, that makes sense. I'm so excited to see everyone's entries this year, best of luck to all.

Dear ROG team,

Would it be enough that I submit 5 pictures by using the entry form on your website to enter the competition (the update bottom already appeared)? It is not need anymore to add and tag the images to the Insight Astronomy Group? Is it enough that the images in my photostream. Despite of the fact that I submitted my entry I still can not see my images in the pool and I just want to make sure that my entry will be fine.

Your early answer would be highly appreciated.

Hi PBandi502,
I asked the same question in the thread. The answer they replied with was that this year the images do not need to be tagged and uploaded to the group. I dont see mine either when I look in the pool.
