100 Artists

Going to cross group post this, trying to get the word out.

I've started a rather large endeavor. It's based at Penciljack, but I want to make sure the folks I've dealt with in the past little while know about it as well.

I'm assembling 100 artists for a massive charity project. It's in two phases. One, artists draw a sketch or pencil/ink or pastel or watercolor a picture and mail it to me and I get the 100 pages scanned and bound. The bound original art will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and the Hero Initiative. The scanned images will be submitted to Lulu or Blurb for publishing and the sales from those will also go to the organizations. The second phase is to have one book be sent to all 100 artists and each one contribute. The final book will see both an auction and digitization and sale, same as the first.

We're up to about 42 artists on the message board so there is room for quite a few more. If you are interested, all the info is in the main thread and you can contact me with any questions.

Thank you for reading.

I'm interested, are you looking for comic book pages or more like comic like drawing?

We're looking for just about anything. It's going to be primarily populated with comic book artists and the two foundations we're donating to are both comic book related, but I'm not turning anyone away. The only stipulation as far as art is that it can't be an established property (Spiderman, Wolverine, etc.)

Pencils, inks, watercolors, chalk, whatever you want to do.
