Group Rules

Hi Crafters! We love you, and we love your photos. To make the group more enjoyable for everyone, please abide by these rules:

The Dos:
-Post photos of crafty things! Could be crafts, artwork, crafty workspaces, almost anything, really.
-Describe your crafty things in the image description.
-Include a link to your blog post about the crafty thing, if applicable.
-The crafty thing doesn't have to be yours. Say you saw some awesome piece in an art gallery, it's ok to post as long as you tell us inquiring minds who made it!
-Make your photos downloadable. If we can't download your images (set in your permissions), we can't include your lovely crafts on! Creative Commons license? Even better. We always credit you for your work.

The Don'ts:
-Don't post too many photos of the same thing. Two images per craft, max. For example, if you made a beautiful purse, include your best shot in the pool and include info about the rest of the photos in the description. This will keep the pool full of as many different people's work as possible, and make viewing the pool an enjoyable experience for everyone. We know it's tempting to show off your work with lots of photos, but please put your best foot forward!
-Two variation photos. If you've made many of a similar object, for example many beaded necklaces with a similar motif, please limit the number of photos you submit to the pool to two. You can list in the description that you have made similar pieces in different colors/designs, so folks can find them in your photostream. Even better, let us know how to get to your Etsy shop! (remember not to put Etsy links in your image descriptions, though; tell us "available in my shop" and put the link in your profile)
-If we find too many pictures of one project or design, we'll remove all but what we think are the best two.
-Don't post photos of the same thing week after week. If you sell a lot of quilted potholders, that's great, but we don't want to see each one.
-No watermarks. If you want us to be able to use images of your work (with proper credit, of course), don't put watermarks or logos on your image.

You'll be warned once for rule violations, after which you'll be banned from posting to the group. Sorry to be harsh, but we run a tight (and enjoyable) crafty ship!

We may remove your images from the pool if they don't follow the rules, and you may also be removed from the group. You may rejoin at any time, but rejoining will make you agree to the rules listed here just to make sure you know them.

Thanks, and happy crafting!
