The Christmas Scout feature has returned, and it is NOT a bug once again. If you don't wish to use this feature, there is a link saying Turn off Christmas Scout when you first click or tap on the Scout feature in the Big Huge Labs site - just click or tap on Turn off Christmas Scout to disable that feature.
