Just a reminder: If there is no indication that your photo is a cemetery, either visually or by its tags or description, it will be removed without warning. Also, churches in and of themselves, while lovely, are not what this group is about. Unless you can see a churchyard around it, or unless it's a grave inside a church, these will also be removed. It's nothing personal, of course, and doesn't mean it's a bad photo. We're just trying to maintain the integrity of the group's theme.

So a gravestone has to be in an active cemetery? There are dozens of abandoned cemeteries and graves in my area. These pictures would not be approved?

ChrisC17: No, that's not correct. The cemetery does not have to be active. It just has to be easily ascertained that it IS a cemetery, either visually or by tags. Though, certain things would probably be removed, like a close up of a flower, for example, as the photo isn't about the graves/graveyard but about the flower. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)

There is pretty much nothing left of this cemetery except a few scattered gravestones. I’m not sure what happened to it. It may have been on a farm which has been subdivided and the stone wall is almost non-existent at this point. It’s really kind of sad.

Set the safety level to safe, it was rejected because you have the safety level of your photostream set to moderate.
