Using Nikon Coolpix S600 for several years, for all-purpose and convenience shooting (fits in my handbag). Using Sony DSLR since early 2009, currently SLT-A65V that I adore. Favorite lenses are Minolta AF 100mm macro (from old film camera Minolta Maxxum days), and Tamron 75-300 1:4-5.6 Tele-macro.

My newest toy is an Olympus E-M1, which I absolutely love for being lightweight and complicated. The lenses swap out with spouse's Panasonic lenses, so I have a range of zooms available there but the 15-45 kit lens works great for close and macro shots.

My favorite subjects are orchids (duh!!) and other flowers, birds, animals, veggies & fruit, quirky bits of Central Park and New York City. I've also got a lot of yarn and knitting shots here, since I use Flickr for Ravelry uploads.
