I am currently a graduate student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. My research focuses on motion planning and control theory as applied to autonomous robots, particularly in the areas of humanoids and manipulation.

I'm mostly a landscape photographer. My work featuring historical monuments in Europe have been widely cited in a variety of online and print publications. In particular, my photo on the Zaragoza Cathedral recently took the 7th place in Wiki Loves Monuments, the largest photography competition in the world (certified by Guinness) with over 350,000 submissions. My work was recently exhibited in Gouda and St. Petersburg, and will be touring Panama, Britain, Sweden, Spain, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Germany for the remainder of 2013. Most of my publications are freely available under the Creative Commons license.
