It was in a lowly town of pagbilao, quezon, philippines when i saw light on may 26, 1980 .I am the second of the four sons of Capt. Angelino R. Andres and Mrs. Fidelia T. Andres. we are all named FREEDOM, simply because our father was one of the student-activists of his time in the 1970's, when filipinos fought against the dictatorship of then president Ferdinand Marcos. I grew up with a modest life, studied in sectarian schools for my elementary and secondary education; finished a computer education course in college as well as a caregiving course as post graduate education which brought me here in japan... caring for the elderly has been second nature to me because back i the philippines i used to take care of my own grandmother, now 83 years old. i came from a family very fond of pictures, fact is my mother keeps a lot of our photographs at home. this, probably is one reason why i was lured to photography...
This is how I show my Art ..When I'm photographing, I see life,& that's what I deal with. I don't have pictures in my head I don't worry about how the picture is going to look. I let that take care of itself… It's not about making a nice picture. That anyone can do.& this is how i see life
