Love the outdoors and nature. You may notice from my photostream that I have a passion for birds. My brother and his wife and my Canadian born wife Linda and myself had a wholesale plant production nursery until retirement. We have three grown children and 7 grandchildren. I have done voluntary photography overseas in Africa and Bangladesh for Baptist World Aid Australia.

I used Pentax gear back in the film era but changed to Canon for digital, firstly using Canon EOS 350D February (06) I upgraded to the 5D and now to the awesome 1DX and 1DX 2

Greg is one of my favourite nature photographers (despite his obsession with birds). His photographs always display top notch technical skills whilst often capturing the beauty and behaviour of their subject. From the every-day to the rare, his shots capture the best Australia (and sometimes elsewhere) has to offer!

And beyond his skill as a photographer lies his seemingly endless knowledge of the flora & fauna of Australia that will impress and inspire you. Greg is the heart and soul of the reason someone would join, particpate in or stay with flickr. Greg -- remember, please keep the payment in small denominations of non-sequential bills not more than 5 years in age. ;-)
