Drag to set position!
Retired primary school teacher, newly retired tutor for trainee teachers on school experience, home IT help guy.
I've been taking photos most of my life (my first camera was a Kodak Brownie 44A - It ended up at the bottom of the River Rhône - it's a long story!)
My first SLR was a Practica Nove 1B, (which my Dad passed on to me when he realised that he hardly ever used it) and I moved on through a series of other film SLRs before switching to digital. (I still have several of them)
The first digital camera I owned was an Olympus 750 UltraZoom (still got it). I like it but missed the SLR experience. so...
... I got a Canon 400D (which I used until the beginning of 2011) with the following lenses:
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f3.5/5.6 IS
Canon EF-S 55-250 f4-5.6 IS
Canon EF 50mm f1.8
Tamron SP AF 90mm f2.8 DI Macro lens
I now own and use a Canon 550D - same lenses ... plus...
Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4
SIgma 17-70mm f2.8-4 DC (from spring 2015)
Canon EF-85mm f1.8
and recently EFS 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 IS STM
December 2018: I upgraded again to a Canon 77D ...
In Winter 2009 I did the Open University Digital Imaging course, T189.
