It is very unfortunate that no-one has yet decided to write a testimonial on Raja Islam. For one, he is a bit arrogant photographer. Good photographers, like good businessmen, are a bit more arrogant than others. That keeps them going. I met Raja on a trip to Umerkot. But briefly and before that, I met him at a shabby software house whose owner was also an exporter of marble. Harish Kumar, my MAJU friend, had asked me to come over to meet a fan. I can say that Raja Islam was my fan then. Now I am his. Such are the ways and workings of our photographic world! I need to tell readers and our colleagues one thing: No other photographer based in Pakistan travels at such odd times as Raja does. And no one captures Karachi as he does. He is a true street photographer and an erstwhile blogger. His photographs are a testimony to the fact that hard work pays off.

Every pictures is pure and every shot say something. He started Photographing with a Nokia 6630 Then switched to Canon Power Shot A630 and finally a Nikon D80 & a pro account... This is how he became a great Photographer and my Spiritual Mentor....
