I used to be hyperactive on Flickr, but due to work and family pressures, have been unable to participate for quite a while. I am unable to follow my contacts' streams faithfully, for which I duly apologize.

I do login infrequently and check out some of the group discussions.

An amateur photographer, really, a rank amateur! An electrical engineer - telecommunications, aerospace and defense - by profession. What little free time I have, after family and work and social activities, goes into my photography. I have been taking pictures for a long time, since I was not even a teen. I like all kinds of photography: people, travel, sports, wildlife, nature, street. But as my teenager son (mavsluver41) who is now into photography says, I am into "cliche". So be it, it keeps me happy. I am a life-long Nikonian, there's no denying my bias there! Got the photography bug from my dad, who was an amateur. While he was busy with life, I commandeered his gorgeous Nikon F and have loved Nikons ever since. I love both digital and film photography. I used to develop my own B&W negatives as a teenager, and now I enjoy Photoshop/Lightroom to adjust my images, although I am not into the digital art and over-manipulation genre. Lately, I have been having a blast using my late father-in-law's Rolleicord Va to shoot family pictures with B&W 120 film.
