Vinmar, lord of Windsor and Slough has been taking photos since he was eleven. Now at the age of 93 the minor royal has decided to try digital photography. He said to me at a recent banquet, "I have treated digital photography like smack. Only trying it close to my death." Lord Vinmar is currently in rehab for his disabilitating drug habit. What is there to say about this slightly crazed individual with a lust for up to date technology and organic foods. If someone made an organic computer he'd never leave the house. He might even try to eat it and irreversibly absorb the vegetable-technological goodness. He may often remark: "But it comes with GPS - so you know exactly where you are and it can direct you home. Oh it comes with bluetooth too, you gotta have your bluetooth" he says. "and comes with a USB connector - I'd be crazy not to buy this!" he says. "Sweet Jesus it's got a 3 week battery life on standby too I thought that just happened in the movies! I was destined to own this, she will be mine" and so on But why Vin you've driven home from here 100 times, you know the way. Please switch it off, please, for the love of God. Oh look it's sent us the wrong way, again. No the M1 doesn't take us to Tooting. No. No. Yeah switch it off, yup - straight over at Dallas Chicken and you're there - hooray! And happydance. Vin is my link into this crazy (and confusing) world and for that I thank him. Why I'd still be using my siemens C35i and 486 DX2 if it wasn't for technological prowess. Vin has also been known to go on the odd country ramble and take awesome photos. By this and by other insane Vin-like ways (some of which may be disturbing to the average bear) he continues to enrich everyone's world. Well what are brothers for?
