This Is Wakefield and Beyond Transport Photography. Primarily capturing the Transport Scene in and around the UK, thank you for viewing my photostream.

About me - My interest in transport started from when I was young, with trips with my Grandparents and riding round on local buses operated by Arriva and Yorkshire Traction, Yorkshire Traction of course known for their variety across the fleet!

My favourite buses of all time is the Cummins L10 powered Leyland Olympians, specifically Northern Counties bodied. I had a soft spot for the New to Coastliner K-YCL batch which in their last few years operated from Waterloo Depot in Huddersfield. Not only that, I also really liked the new to Traction X-HHE registered East Lancs Myllennium bodied DAF SB220's with ZF Gearboxes. Of course, all of them are now sadly gone! Modern buses wise, I have a liking for the Scania Omnicity/Omnilink's.

Train wise, as you can tell from a lot of my photos my favourite locomotive is the British Rail Class 60 (Original slogan being - "The power to move mountains"), my specific favourite being 60065 "Spirit of Jaguar", just for the name and livery but the engine sound and look of them are fantastic and were also partially built local to me!
