I have about seven great passions these days: dogs, travel, photography, cooking, wine, jazz and reading. Mostly these meld quite well. We go on great trips, eat delicious food, relax at charming cafes with new wines (or beer). And then we come home to the dogs, look through the photos, listen to our favorite jazz standards and read up on the next adventure.

Next up is the Dolomites in northern Italy. Then Egypt in January 2011. Hopefully, we will be able to make some weekend trips to some of our fabulous national parks--thinking about Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef in the fall.

It was on her last day of the exploration interval that she found the small claystone building in the windy desert where monks were salvaging ancient manuscripts. It was that night that the dreams began.

I've just traveled the world by going through Zrim's photostream. Zrim has had some wonderful travels and has done a very good job of documenting those travels with very good photos. Thanks for sharing, hope to see more!
