No one's been working on the rail road
This is a trestle bridge in Parchment, Michigan. Parchment used to be a big paper manufacturer (it was a company town, originally - "Parchment" get it?), but all of the mills are now closed.
It's an HDR-accident. I made images for a true color HDR, then put the infrared filter back on and fired off the series without changing the auto-bracketing settings in CHDK. I did the usual reverse-color action after running the original DNG files through Photomatix.
Infrared image made with a Canon A590 IS and a Hoya Infrared R72 filter. The Canon was running CHDK to produce raw images.
