The fabulous Screen-on-the-Green at Islington, still going strong today. First opened in 1913 as the Royal Picture Theatre, later known as the Empress and the Rex, it is currently the Everyman Cinema, Islington.
A couple of days time will mark the 30th anniversay of my 1st date with my partner when we watched "The Killing Fields" here (how romantic is that!)?
