PDD Chairmanship Handover - Fiji to the European Union - July 2022

On 1 July 2022, the European Union took over the Chairmanship of the PDD and will remain Chair until 31 December 2022. Kenya will assume the Vice-Chairmanship and support the EU in their priorities. During the meeting, Argentina was also approved as a new Steering Group member. Prof. Walter Kaelin was also confirmed as Envoy of the Chair under the EU Chairmanship.
