Hong Kong, Aberdeen Harbour
Aberdeen is a town on the Hong Kong island in Hong Kong. The town is named in honour of George Hamilton-Gordon, the 4th Earl of Aberdeen and former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1852-1855). The population of the Aberdeen area is approximately 80,000. The harbour is one of nine in Hong Kong and is well known as a popular tourist spot. It is often used by local fishermen as a shelter, particularly in bad weather.
