Me Then (1978) and Now (2008)

Back in the late 70's I loved skateboarding. This was my first board - wooden with polyurethane wheels and open bearings. Later I got a fiberglass board with wide trucks and Stroker brand wheels that I ordered from Southern California.

 

I still have that original wooden board though. And it is still very fast.

 

Hey - I know I look a little mad here - was just trying match the intensity of the shot from the 70's (and not fall on my a$$).
