Ara severus
This is one of the smallest macaws we have in South America, the Chestnut-fronted Macaw. It’s about half the size of the other, larger macaws and incredibly beautiful. This free individual allowed me to get fairly close while visiting the feeding stations set for it and hundreds of other birds every day in a farm in the Magdalena Valley.
