a word about heavy lifting...
there are many good things about having a husband that works nights.
for one, you don't really have to worry about sharing the computer, or the television, or much of anything for that matter. you don't really have to make dinner....if you don't want to. and you know those times you really just don't feel like arguing about who will load the dishwasher...well, they don't really happen...until morning.
one thing, though, that i really miss...having a partner who watches the corners. see, i'm used to heavy lifting. don't mind it. even kinda like it, but it's those corners that get me.
we live in an old house. oh, not one of those grand old houses, but rather, a smallish, quaint one. with very narrow hallways.
so let me just say...thank goodness that is the side of the bed that goes towards the wall. and thank goodness mattresses bend. and, since he wasn't home to notice the corners, thank GOD it wasn't THAT vase.
after doing this 'thing' alone for the last month or so, i have such a deeper respect for mothers who go it alone all the time. who move the furniture, load the dishwasher, alone, ALL the time.
good for you...keep on keepin' on...and for god sakes... watch those corners!
and yes....you'll see the rest of it tomorrow....night, night.
