A closeup of the life size statues of the cathedral's facade. The medieval craftsmen and architects must have all these spectacular imaginations transformed into exquisite works of art.


These days, you no longer see works such as this. Even some modern day statues, some machine can already make it. They don't even have to carve it out, they can make it out of forming concrete. I can't help but think -- is it because the absence of technology in the old days that made people create works like these patiently?
