2011: Week 11 // Lunch at the Boylan Bridge Brewpub
I went walking around downtown with Caroline on Saturday. We forgot that the St. Patty's Day Parade was that morning, and we didn't feel like watching any of it. So we decided to sit upstairs at Morning Times and drink some coffee while watching the crowds leave from the parade. Some of them drunk, and some of them that shouldn't be wearing lime green feather boas. Which would mean everyone that was wearing lime green feather boas.
We then decided to eat lunch at the Boylan Bridge Brewpub. I live about 300 ft from this place but have only been about 4 times and had yet to eat a meal there. Some of the best views of the downtown skyline can be seen from the outside patio. A lot of couples get their engagement photos taken on the bridge that's adjacent to the brewpub with the skyline in the background, because the view is so great. I'm sure the photos are beautiful, but I make fun of these couples. I know, it's sweet and beautiful, and I'm just a jerk.
This is a photo of my favorite section of the skyline that you can see from the brewpub. I like the American flag at the top of the government building. Maybe one day I'll have my engagement photo taken in front of it, so you can drive by and make fun of me.
