Trichopilia tortilis...

...delicate and fragrant orchid from the humid forests of El Salvador. It is also found in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. The name comes from the Greek "tricho" (hair) and "pilos (felt) and refers to the fine hairs on top of the column.

I grow it on a piece of wood where it has developed fine roots and it's doing fine.
