i love maps and mapping and tracking where i am. i'm reading jonathan franzen's "discomfort zone," which has a personal map on the cover. i've tried to draw personal maps before and always, always, they end up the shape of macedonia. i will have to try to stray from that, but i was unable to in drawing this one.
march daily art journal in a moleskine calendar
march was harder. there were more days when i didn't sit down with the journal for several days running. this ends up both good and bad, as it gives me two-page spreads to work with, but it cuts back on my creative practice. i definitely felt the tumult of house- and job-hunting weigh heavily on my time this month.
