Sub-adult Female Great-tailed Grackle. I Think.

No question that it's a Great-tailed Grackle, the question is whether it's an imm. male or female bird. I think female because I assume a male would be further along toward its black plumage and bright yellow eye than this bird on this date. I am not certain of the latter though. Oceano, CA.
