"Mangrove" Warbler (Yellow Warbler subsp.)
Note the undertail coverts of the vagrant male in San Diego, California January 20, 2009. Thought by some authorities to be a separate species, but not by the AOU. One suspects that the warbler itself is less concerned than are attendant birders. A native of mangrove swamps from semi-tropical Mexico to northern South America.
