Great-tailed Grackle, Sub-adult

Brownish eye not yet adult color, but not juv. plumage which would be streaky below. I am assuming this is an imm. female whose eye has not yet become pale yellow--see next 2 photos. BNA notes that "Neither Prejuvenile molt or Juvenile plumage have been described in detail" adding to my tenuous conclusion. Oceano, CA.
