Megellanic Penguins Stick Together on Magdelena Island, Chile

Visiting Magdelena Island in the Straight of Megellan northeast of Punta Arenas. Magdelena Island is within the country of Chile and part of the South American region of Patagonia. Magdelena Island is home to the largest Megellanic penguin colony in the world with an estimated 60,000 nesting pairs of penguins.
