Remembering victims of Lake Rusalka

This artificial lake located in Poznań, and name after Slavic water nymph Rusalka, was build during WWII by Germans.

They used Jewish and Polish forced laborers, and many of them died. The shores of the lake were lined with tombstones from liquidated Jewish cemeteries, and many of them can still be found today.
