This was the most exciting bird moment of my trip in Iceland. I really wanted to see these birds, so when the car flushed them from the side of the road, I stopped right there to watch them, since there's nowhere to pull off the road. I was able to sit there a little while before another car finally came along, forcing me to move on.
One of them isn't flying, which might take you a second longer to spot than the others.
