Oddballs
Hanging out with the Long-tailed Ducks were a couple of scoters. The nearer one is a White-winged Scoter, while the one in back is a female Black Scoter. It was nice to get a good look at them; I usually see them way at a distance, like those below, which stayed out past the end of the rock extension that was like a little peninsula out from the land. With the cold temperature and the spraying water, no one wanted to walk out along it.
