Northern Lapwing

Waders galore at Kinneil Ponds today. Black-tailed Godwits, Knot, Lapwing, Redshank, Greenshank and also a few Golden and Ringed Plover At last some sunshine to test out the 1.4 x converter on my 100-400 mm. Verdict - generally yes but it does drop out more and the focus not always as pin-sharp as I'd like.
