Castle Square in Warsaw, Poland

As photographed from the nearby Taras widokowy (taraswidokowy.pl), with the seventeenth century Sigismund's Column just southwest of the center of the frame.

I often strike out while searching for eats on the road, but scored pay dirt at a restaurant within walking distance of this square (and am determined to work in a plug somewhere in this photo set):

Vegemiasto. I ate and adored the Cudaki, bottom of the third column on their English menu: www.vegemiasto.pl/dania_z_karty.html , would never dream of nabbing such savory fare at an equivalent veggie restaurant in Madrid or S.F., leastways not for a mere 6.74€. Yummie.

One drawback: crowded. I visited late afternoon on a weekday, felt lucky to nab a counter seat next to a queue at the cash register.
