Aitcho Islands

The Aitcho Islands lie in the northern entrance to English Strait, between Greenwich and Robert islands. The Aitcho Islands were charted by the Discovery Investigation in 1936 and named after the Admiralty Hydrographic Office, commonly referred to as H.O. Both chinstrap penguins and gentoo penguins breed here and the gentoo penguin chicks are particularly curious.
